Erick Price, Voice Teacher
Erick Price
About my studio...

I am voice teacher and professional singer located in Saint Louis, Missouri. I have been teaching students of all ages and levels of experience for over 15 years.  Lessons will focus on the basic principles of vocal production that have been employed for centuries. We will explore body alignment, resonance, breathing, articulation, registration and musicality. A solid foundation grounded in classical technique enables a vocalist to sing with freedom and ensures longevity of the instrument. These techniques will then be applied to learning various styles of music to suit the needs of the individual student. I have a strong background in musical theatre as well as classical music. We will explore stage presence, acting, story telling and musical artistry.

  About me...

I have taught in studios in St. Louis, Milwaukee, Chicago and New York City. I have been teaching studio voice lessons for over 15 years and have had many successful students. I am an active member of the National Association for Teachers of Singing. I am also available as a clinician and have held master classes within vocal programs of several local schools. In addition to studio teaching I am a choral conductor and currently hold the position of Director of Choirs at Clayton High School in Clayton, Missouri.

As a performer I have sung with regional opera companies around the country including The Sinfonietta Bel Canto and Vox 3 Collective in Chicago, Verismo Opera of New Jersey, and (formerly) The Skylight Opera Theatre in Milwaukee. I have also performed in over 20 regional musical theatre productions, 2 National Tours, several NYC workshops, and as a lead vocalist on a cruise ship.
